Abstract   |   Authors   |   References
In the new conditions of political and economic confrontation between Russia and unfriendly countries, the issues of revenue generation of the budget system are becoming particularly relevant. Despite the fact that the weak ruble and high prices for the products of key Russian exporters bring good benefits to the budget system, the activities of corporations can be hampered by various sanctions restrictions: problems in logistics, the seizure of warehouses and commercial products, the inability to receive foreign exchange earnings or make payments through payment systems of unfriendly countries. By the end of 2022, ferrous metallurgy showed a higher dependence on Western economic sanctions, while producers of mineral fertilizers, on the contrary, increased their financial results due to the rising cost of gas (especially in Europe). The purpose of the study is to determine the factors influencing the volume of tax revenues from large corporations of the ferrous metallurgy and chemical industry in the new conditions of sanctions pressure. The object of the study was large industrial corporations of ferrous metallurgy: PJSC Severstal (Vologda Region), PJSC MMK (Chelyabinsk Region), PJSC NLMK (Lipetsk Region) and the chemical industry in the segment of mineral fertilizers production: PJSC Apatit (Vologda Region), PJSC Acron (Novgorod Region), PJSC Dorogobuzh (Smolensk Region). The choice of the object is due to the leading positions of these companies in their industries, as well as the dependence of their financial performance results on export sales. The information base of the study included Russian and foreign literature, data from the Federal Tax Service, corporate reporting and information from news agencies. The results can be useful to regional authorities, as well as to all persons interested in the industry and corporate economy
